Preparing a GT3 race car for a new season

First real racing car project for Neuebody: livery design for 911 GT3 Cup car.

The 911 has a very characteristic, sleek and smooth body, which inspired me to create a design based on the aerodynamics of the car. The idea was to create a ‘wind tunnel’ effect: streaks of air flowing straight through the cars body, slowly becoming disrupted when they get closer to the back of the car, in which lies the heart of every 911, the engine. The pops of colors are a symbolic addition to the whole design, because they represent all the burst of energy that we see in motorsport: exhaust bangs, flashing lights at night, lit up brake discs, and sparks coming under from the chassis.

I was very fortunate to get assigned a project for a GT3 racing car, and I was even more fortunate to see the project actually being transferred onto a real thing. I want to give special thanks to Mr. Kodídek, and his team that made this project a reality.
